COPAR – The Start of Change (Hoping)
Our COPAR rotation has just ended but the project still continues. We were the survey group and we’ve done a lot of things to make it all happen. We even faced the wrath of the barangay captain, and thanks for him we were able to get a brief history of what had happened to our clinical area. We’re hoping to make a change with the people there. Too bad though, some of these people are really ignorant to their surroundings and just care about themselves. Coming up with an output of what all the information we’ve gathered, we could say that it was a challenge to think there were revisions to be made.
I’ve heard the other group even had to pull out an all-nighter just to finish their output and they did! Which is a good thing. :3 I’ll be missing the breaks we had at a bakeshop near the area. So far, this rotation has been the shortest and easiest. Making a spotmap of an entire barangay isn’t easy even when using Google Earth and Yahoo Maps all together. Oh yeah! We even had a free clinic kind of thing.
Happy that we did that at least we get to see who are the people at risk for some certain diseases. It was fun
The endorsement wasn’t that hard as we thought it were but I find some of the people whom we endorsed the project to be annoying. LOL I hope the next group would be able to carry it all out well and I’m hoping that there would be a great change in our clinical area, a change for the better good of them.
