Situational Analysis

Last day of the BLS training and all are excited about it! Combination of all the lectures and demonstrations given to us. Before the said event, we were given the opportunity to practice everything from bandaging, to lifting and to splinting. We were one of the first 2 groups to do the situational analysis first. @_@ Really didn’t know what was going to happen. Tired from the previous days, everyone was given time to rest before the situational analysis. :3 When the go signal was given, everyone just ran fast to the ground floor given with the situation of a mall bombing. We had 3 victims to rescue but there were also victims from the other classes at the same site @_@ Crap~ Made it harder for us plus the area was really cramped. Took me a lot of time even rescue one. (I only pulled Renz out LOL) Also did some bandaging and splinting @__@ Haay… No real casualties in the said event. Oh wait! There was one! My glasses xD Its nothing big though I can’t see that much without it. :3 Hehe..

The second team who had the situational analysis was real beat up with some situations. We were told to act like bystanders to annoy the rescuers and some played as family members. Roy really played the role seriously, he even stabbed one of the rescuers. @_@ And they had to do rescue the rescuer! LOL And she continued with the rescuing when she was patched up. LOL Really messed up the rescue part of group 2 because of all the stealing with the bandages and splints. Hehe..

The BLS training was really fun and memorable but was very tiring yet it was all worth it!
