pRO is dying..
Philippine Ragnarok Online (pRO), the once very famous addictive game from Gravity brought by Level Up! Games here in the Philippines is dying as days come by. It is so sad to see the once online game – loved by many is dying.
First thing is that contributes to the many factors why players have stopped playing pRO is because of bots. These bots allows one to have his character level up, gather loots or hunt specific items while not playing the character himself. But I guess these bots are already accepted by the public that Level Up! Games cannot survive without these bots. But it was never said that it was made legal. It is still illegal and that LUG has bowed down to such illegal doings. There are also some rumors that LUG’s personnel also sell items or edit characters thus more illegal doings.
Anothe infamous event has occurred which has made the players of pRO to think of quitting the game. Dupes! Item duplications. I have made a research on how this duping is done but I do not do the process nor do I buy duped items because I know its illegal and I want to have a fair game. In all servers, Baldur, Freya and Tyr – all of them have dupes. But just the past week, pRO has been experiencing frequent disconnections and has allowed dupers to duplicate some items. Just as my previous dupe blog post, then it was in Baldur but now the spot light is on Freya. Duped boss cards are rampant in the streets of Prontera. Clearly from the screenshots, if LUG won’t take action against these, pRO will be dead within a month or two.

i guess sooner or later this is happen. we all saw it coming didn’t we?
There is this law that all people have the right to abuse anything that they own.
But do we own pRO?
If that thing, may we own it gets destroyed, it is always the nature of us to blame anyone. And, it is always upon the owner to restore that thing or not.
It is already dead. And now, were just trying to revive it again /swt
@_@ this is too much!! didn’t know duplicating stuff’s for real! not once did you try it out for yourself? just throw away the duplicate if it works.. i didn’t like the pRO environment anymore since bots were allowed..
I’ve played RO since the time chaos was the only server and it was still in beta. I’ve quit about a year already. Things sure have changed…and they’ve changed for the worse. If I were LU I’d think of a way to prevent any bots even at the cost of losing players, and fix any bugs, at least I’m assured the game is fair and square for everyone. That’s what really counts. Not profit but customer loyalty.
